The piyut was written in the 18th century by Freha bat Avraham ber Advia.  The haunting melody is by Hazan Saralee Shrell-Fox & Maayan Fox and sung by Hazan Saralee Shrell-Fox, Maayan Fox, Rabbi Eli Peretz, Aviya Attas and Devora Greenberg.

Here are the beautiful lyrics in Hebrew and English ably translated by Rabbi Peretz Rodman.
