I’m appealing to our friends and supporters to help fulfill ADRABA Center’s mission to make sure that Israelis with disabilities are helped to live fully Jewish lives. I’m so proud and grateful that the Masorti Movement stands up for the religious rights of people with disabilities. Fighting for their dignity and respect is standing up for all of us who want to build a more caring, kind, pluralistic Israel welcoming to all Jewish people.
Seeing special needs children counted as an integral part of the minyan – in contrast to ultra-Orthodox practices in Israel – helping them pray with the use of I-Pads, and dancing the Hora at a festive Bat or Bat Mitzvah are joyous experiences. I will never forget the smiles on the faces of family members – many of whom have never heard “Mazel Tov” prior to their child’s Bar or Bat Mitzvah. The Masorti Movement needs your support to make these memorable and inspiring moments happen.
I ask you to partner with us and with these Israelis. Help support Masorti services and programs that bring to life the core Jewish teaching that “all the People of Israel should receive Torah together.” Empowering people with disabilities to fully participate in Jewish and Israeli life is an act of Tzedakah that will give you a wonderful feeling and most importantly help transform lives.
With Warmest Regards,
