Etz Haim – Ashdod

The Etz Chaim congregation was founded in July, 1974.
The congregation activities are varied and include weekly prayers every Friday night and every Saturday morning, and, of course, on the holidays. Etz Haim offers study for Bnei and Bnot Mitzvahs before their aliyah to the Torah as well as classes for adults and more.
The synagogue is now housed in a municipal shelter in the city center, with a prayer hall and a banquet hall. The congregation aspires to grow by absorbing new immigrants from Latin America and the former Soviet Union, integrating their children and new members from the city’s population.
