Sukat Shalom was founded in the early eighties by young English-speaking “olim” families who were looking for a more egalitarian form of synagogue worship. We are affiliated with the Conservative-Masorti Movement in Israel. Located in the Jezreel Valley near Nazareth, Haifa, and Tiberias, our 50 or so member-families range from young Israelis to the older founding members.
Shabbat Services are held every Friday at 17:30 during the fall and winter, and 18:30 in the spring and summer. Other activities include Bar/Bat Mitzvah celebrations, lectures, holiday Services and community outreach.
