Masorti Movement CEO Rakefet Ginsberg, in a personal note, shares with us the warm message of solidarity from our colleagues and friends in Israel in response to the attack and hostage taking at Beth Israel in Colleyville, Texas.

The Masorti  Foundation’s Chair, Heidi Schneider, said, “It meant a great deal to me to wake up today to Rakefet’s message of solidarity and caring.  This partnership with Masorti Israel is a strong bond that binds us together in good times and in challenging times. I am grateful for what our Israeli colleagues can teach us about responding to trauma with resilience.”

Dear Heidi and Gideon,
Our thoughts and prayers have been with you as a fellow Jew and human being during and following the attack on the innocent people who came to pray at Congregation Beth Israel in Colleyville, Texas. We are so relieved along with everyone else that this senseless attack did not result in the loss of life. I am attaching a letter from the leaders of the Masorti Movement and its institutions in Israel and just wanted to let you know that our hearts are with you.  I would really appreciate if you can forward and share this message with our friends in North America.

Toda Raba,  Rakefet
